Account Deletion

1. Overview
Haroo Chat by Click click s.r.o. allows you to request complete deletion of your account and associated personal data. This page explains how to request deletion, what data is removed, and what is retained under legal obligations.
2. How to Delete Your Account
2.1 In-App (Recommended)
- Open Haroo Chat and go to Settings
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Read the summary of what will be deleted
- Confirm deletion in the confirmation dialog
- Your account and data will be permanently deleted
2.2 Via Email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to contact@haroo.chat with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include:
- The email address associated with your Haroo Chat account
- Your username (if known)
We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days, as required by GDPR.
3. Data That Is Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed:
This action is permanent. Once your account is deleted, the data listed above cannot be recovered.
4. Data That Is Retained
4.1 Third-Party Payment Records
All payment records stored within Haroo Chat are deleted with your account. However, our payment processor (Stripe) retains transaction records independently in accordance with their own data retention policy and applicable financial regulations. Haroo Chat has no control over Stripe's retained records.
4.2 AI Personalities You Created
AI characters you created remain available to other users but are fully disassociated from your account. Your creator attribution is removed. No personal information remains linked to these characters.
5. Deletion Timeline
- In-app deletion: Immediate. Data is removed as soon as you confirm.
- Email request: Processed within 30 days of identity verification, in accordance with GDPR Article 17.
